Chat said OBS feels bloated. I think it's the opposite. OBS ships with nothing extra and you add only the plugins you want. Bloated or not? Tell me below.

If/Else in Streamer.bot. Check a variable, drop sub-actions straight into the True and False groups, all in 1 action. The bit everyone misses: wrap the input in percent signs, like %number%.

OBS 33 has new snapping guides. Blue lines show when a source lines up edge to edge or with another source, and hidden sources are ignored.

Scrolling text ticker in OBS, no plugins. Text source, Scroll filter, limit the width to 1920, then add 5 spaces at each end so the message has a gap before it repeats.

This isn't a browser source. It's one OBS text source. Wave and tornado text, an image dropped straight into the text, and a button built in seconds. This is ProText, my new plugin, in early access for StreamUP members.

Elgato 4K Pro in OBS and the picture looks off? Your console sends 4K, your canvas is 1080p, and OBS squashes it down. Set the capture device to a custom 1920x1080 so everything matches.

Ad | OBSBOT sent me the Talent 2 and it has made me rethink my whole gig setup. 4 HDMI in, USB cameras, PTZ from the touchscreen, hot swap batteries, 5G. Streams on its own, or feeds OBS. If you stream out in the field, what would you run through it?

A lot of you asked why I don't just hold Alt and crop in OBS. One of the reasons: crop a source and filters still work off the original bounds, so a stroke only lands where OBS thinks the edge is. Advanced Mask crops it properly, full border. Stroke filter by @f15y.com

OBS is moving every plugin into one folder: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio\plugins. In OBS 33 it's optional. From OBS 34, plugins anywhere else won't load. It's a hidden folder, so turn on View > Show > Hidden items to find it.

Annoyed at scrolling through 50 OBS scenes? The StreamUP Scenes Organiser gives you folders, colour coding and auto sort. Same Scenes dock, just one you can actually navigate. Free. Free download and a full walkthrough in the reply.

OBS 33 beta is out, and it moves where your plugins live. New install folder, some plugins won't load yet, and the old locations stop working in OBS 34. Plus proper snapping guides, number boxes that apply on Enter, and a much newer browser engine. Full breakdown out now.

Twitch Dual Format: you go live once, and viewers choose how to watch. The usual widescreen, or vertical on their phone with a tap to switch. Setup is 1 plugin and 1 settings page in OBS, then go live as normal. Bonus, your clips come out vertical, ready for socials. #ad
