We are waiting for the things to come. What you see here is the massive (warm) band over central Europe, that was causing the flooding in Spain and France, crossed the Alps moving towards Greenland - Replacing the air mass there, so the cold air is moving south, west of Ireland.

The radar in Spain is a bit wonky at the moment, the system that hit Mallcora, Ibiza and the coast around Valencia yesterday is moving north, will most likely reach the channel before this evenening. Remember dark red are extreme downpours with flash flood danger ⛈️.

The rain band stretching from Spain all the way to Finland has reached central Europe and will cause some rather rough conditions in the Baltic sea, east of Denmark, a Storm surge warning is in place for the island of Rügen on the Polish border and the sourrounding areas 🌊.

The cold air has finally won, the rain band is just moving over London, followed by some colder air mass, moving on further east. You can still see the remenants of the rain over Istanbul, the circulation dumping continuos rain.

In the latest plot twist, the wind direction coming from South-West has shifted to West. Pretty rainy day for our Nordic & Baltic friends + Poland, western Ukraine will see some of what he have experienced for the last few days, hang on to your hats. The next system is heading ENE in the last hour

Looks pretty hefty...don't go outside even a smaller hailstorm the size of a grape can kill you if it hits you right. The same stuff we saw in France last week. #Canada #Hailstorm

The system over the northern parts of the Mediterranean Sea has past the Alps now and is moving on to the NE, there is so much energy in it, that it causes the colder air over the UK to come to a near complete halt. Next to watch is the system west of Portugal, could bring a healthy amount of ☔.

All the red cells are severe thunderstorms with heavy rain and hale. I bet the stripe N <>S west of Ireland is to collapse inwards towards NNE. There is still to much energy coming from SW. It just moved with relative ease over the Pyrenees, not much the Black Forest will do there to stop it.

The radar @Shannon coming back to life there, the push from SW keeps going, severe weather in northern Romania (Eastern Carpathians).

The 'Yellow Weather Warning' for is in place from noon today for six counties along the south coast of Ireland and valid until Friday night 3am. Also parts of England & Wales, Belgium & Netherlands. France got it all throughout the night already. The rotation is a concern.
