Ngl despite liking the romance in this game long term I hate how creepy the flirting dialogue gets, especially when they let you do it on unavailable characters

I took one dialogue with Judy at the lake as male V just to see what would happen and her response made me feel so awful I reloaded a save

The wild thing is that Panam only requires a male body type for romance, which means that the relationship has voice lines for male and female V already in the game. This goes for River, Judy, and Kerry too.

I don't get why they just didn't make them all bi. A simple mod unlocks them.

I think people forget that even if you romance her as a male character, she still rejects you in that specific scene.

It's been SAID that the was some kind of initial intent of female V to have been the primary V, and you do see that in some of the marketing, but then you get something like this, and... I do not see how they would then write Panam LIKE THIS and then lock her to heterosexuality.

It seems like they were originally going to make all the romances gender-agnostic but later decided to change that. The dateable straight man also had a bunch of his planned content moved over to Takemura who is an infinitely hotter and more interesting character, so he winds up falling very flat.

Sometimes, in reading about the cut content of game, it really is amazing that one, it was in any state to be released when it did (regardless of how questionable that release was at the time), and two, it manages to pull together as it does anyway.

The fact that all her dialogue leading up to this is exactly the same with Male V is the crazy part - in Panam's mind was she not flirting at all, and when Male V puts the moves on her she thinks "That came out of nowhere, but I can roll with it"?!?!

They didn't write/animate separate scenes for Guy V and Lady V except for the last choice so the result is that Panem is flirting hard and gets cold feet at the last second

she is straight but also that dialogue happens exactly the same way regardless of gender, she isn't cool with anything until later. she rejects everyone there. (which means it's likely not too late to mod things, if you want)

I remember I got a bit flirty with her as FemV, but when I got into the relationship with Judy & I got to this point, & what felt like the devs giving me the last opportunity to “flirt” with Panam. I simply politely declined. I doged disappointment by role playing my character.
