Across the city, the number one issue facing Chicagoans is how unaffordable life has become, and it’s hitting small business owners just as hard as families. Raquel has had to cut back her employees’ hours just to keep up with the rising cost of, well, everything.

Organizations like the Albany Park Chamber of Commerce are crucial because they connect small businesses like Raquel’s with the resources and support they need to stay open and grow.
As mayor, I want City Hall to be a better partner in that work, helping bring those resources to neighborhood businesses so they can spend less time fighting to stay afloat and more time investing in their employees and communities.
