I started this book out as a planned novella. Then it turned into something completely different. This scene is one of many that I felt so incredibly crushed by, but it's how the story was meant to go. #booksky #fantasybooks #darkfantasy

It’s always the scenes that hurt the most that end up feeling the most necessary. What made this one especially hard for you to write?

Mount of Fractured Souls is a dark fantasy book filled with emotional trauma, the wrestling with our demons instead of becoming the monster, and the question of how far would you go for the one you love?
