🚨BREAKING PMQs🚨 PM: "Have they had the time to read the COVID inquiry report yesterday about the appalling state of social care as it went into the pandemic, the hundreds of thousands of British people who suffered as a result of that, the lives that were lost." "I need no lectures."

What did I do to deserve such a disparaging reply?
To disparage means to criticize, belittle, or speak of someone or something in a way that shows a lack of respect, value, or importance. You did that to both me and the place where I live.
Strange how @helenwhateley as missing from the commons today .
He has genuine passion on this, as he did with Hillsborough. It’s refreshing to hear.
Well said.

The conservatives killed fragile folk in homes by careless policy of transferring them directly from hospital to a care home without testing.

They know it too...
I wish I could see the faces of the Tories, most likely they are laughing.

Important to see these reports getting addressed.
Well how about prosecuting those responsible?
Yes he does, the murdering Red Tory cunt
I missed what he said because I was distracted by the two nodding dogs behind him.
Spot on. The Tory’s have a lot of deaths to answer for as their PM wanted to write a book rather than actually run the country through a pandemic.

What about trials to straighten the mistakes and compensation for the families of the dead?
Johnson deliberately left the borders open, for economic advantage, & then promised to stop the NHS falling over

Protect the NHS was a Tory slogan, bc the NHS was going to be overwhelmed, like in Italy

That is why they sent hosp covid patients into care homes

He could do with a lecture on covid still being current issue and on airborne transmission, to be fair.
True there have been zero changes within schools to prevent Covid transmission - would also help solve so much illness and time off - thus improving attendance figures - but that seems too hard @andyburnham.bsky.social

Never forget or forgive what the tories have done to this country
About time someone stood up to those Tory ghouls.
Brilliant. Andy Burnham has taken brickbats from Badenoch and the Tories and I admire him for trying to extend the hand of friendship and cooperation. However, they have repeatedly thrown his advances back in his face so I’m pleased to see him give them some home truths.
